I started This RN Writes with the goal of offering nurse-written freelance health writing services using a glimpse into my thoughts, experiences, and expertise as a mental health healthcare professional.  My name is Brandon. I have practiced as a registered nurse since 2008 with experience in ICU, trauma, home health care, community health, management, managed care, and psychiatric and mental health nursing, working with patients across the entire life span. My academic career includes nursing, science, public health, research, business, economics, and writing.  I'm also a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner student working on my graduate degree.
